I grew up in Wisconsin obsessed with movies. In high school I recruited friends, improvised costumes and props, taught myself to use Windows Movie Maker, and discovered my love and talent for filmmaking.
In Chicago I studied film production and advertising at Loyola University, pairing a known passion with a blossoming interest, and earned degrees in both areas.
After graduating I returned home to the tourist hotspot of Door County, Wisconsin. I worked for a year at a fledgling production company making short documentary style films aimed at driving tourism throughout the county. I even cut a few ads that still run every summer at the local drive-in movie theater.
At the end of 2016 I decided to answer the call of the sun, the ocean, and the industry. I packed my things up and moved to LA. Since being here I’ve learned through various jobs both on set and off, and had the opportunity to hone my skills as an editor on a wide variety of projects.
I’m eager to break new ground, to gain new experience and knowledge, and to work on projects that inspire me.
